Moving Blues

I think I'm dying, I really think I am. Not even this coffee is waking me up! After an exhausting week, starting last Thursday there's still no end of things for me to do! I'm moving flat so, starting on Thursday, I had to pack up all my stuff and start moving it. Of course the lift in my new place broke and since I'm on the third floor, up four flights of stairs with me and my boxes. This went on on Thursday and Friday evening after work, then early Saturday morning. Saturday evening I did some cleaning, Sunday morning I did more packing and cleaning, during the afternoon I brought another load of stuff over, this time sans car. Monday was taken over because my old roommate from Austria was in Ireland so I went to see her, accidentally staying out late, so what I really needed was some rest!

Not a hope! I couldn't sleep last night with the lads already moved out even though we'd done a major cleaning session and I was exhausted. Then my alarm started beeping at 6:30 this morning and I had to get up and do two trips with my rucksack full of food and added things I'd forgotten over to the new flat. Got back just in time to let in yer wan that I was giving the keys back to. She went around the whole flat and told me it was filthy. We have to reclean the lads' bathroom, my shower, all the skirting boards, the hall and sitting room floor, the entire kitchen and all the countertops otherwise she was gonna take 340e (roughly) out of our deposit to pay for cleaners :( I'm exhausted and was hoping to go over to my new place this evening to sort out my stuff, but now I don't have a chance cos I'll have to spend the evening cleaning and *then* go meet my folks who decided to come up to Dublin to visit just when I don't have any free time :/ Shoot me? Please?

Durshka out.
