This weekend saw me eloping down to Waterford for the Spraoi festival. It was a good laugh! I got to meet up with a bunch of friends I hadn't seen in ages as well as watch a life-size puppet show and some aerial acrobatics. This was all topped off by a scary nighttime parade (which terrified my friend's 20 month old son 'til he was brought back from the barrier) and a fireworks display.
On to the nights out! Friday I stayed in Dublin as 'twas my friend's house warming party, and a beautiful place it was too. The night managed to go smoothly and we all got merrily drunk. At aboot 3am we were all kicked out, and since lil' Ivan lives far away he ended up on my couch. Now, do you imagine that little shit let me sleep?!! Oooooohhh nooooo, he kept me up 'til 6am talking aboot serial killers! >:( Now, all that I wouldn't mind 'cept I had to get up at 9:30am to get the bus to Waterford :/
Anyhews, the Saturday night was a laugh, my friend (with the 20 month old son) was having a baby shower for her soon-to-be-born daughter. So, drinks at her place! Then out to the pub with her youngest brother and another of her friends. I kept bumping into people I knew, the terrors of small towns, and eventually bumped into my neighbour. He's friends with my older brothers and has been away in the states for a while (so has forgotten proper etiquette). He ended up walking me home (since the others lived in the opposite direction and sure he's my neighbour and my brother's friend and he should know better than to lay a finger on me!! Bah!!) Fecken eegit hit on me the entire way up the road and tried to kiss me (yes, I counted!) five times!! He just wasn't taking no for an answer, no matter how much I laughed at how pathetic he was! He even tried texting me the next day calling me "maneater" and inviting me out for a drink! Just because I didn't want to kiss the guy would *not* make me a maneater! Now I'm just wondering should I tell my brothers or not, they'd probably go for him and I hardly need *that* on my conscience! *sigh* Why are men so dumb?!!
